Conduct
It should go without saying that this is just a game. There are no
prizes, trophies, money or lives at stake. Play it that way. You will be
required to have and do a few things to be part of our flight. We want
you to learn and most importantly have fun. But all things must have
some order to be fun for all. Below are a few things to know and
remember.
- Respect all pilots, friend or foe. Fight a good fight with
character.
- Use the 3 C's; Courtesy, Consideration and Common
Sense.
- Roger Wilco (RW) is a must in at least the receive mode. It is too
difficult to type instructions and fly at the same time. Download
and use this product from www.rogerwilco.com.
- Understand Zulu (Greenwich Mean Time). Practices and meetings will
be posted using this time table. You can find a utility to convert
local time in our Utility section.
- During squad practice or squad functions the CO or Ops chief
is king. LISTEN to his/her instructions and cut unneeded chatter. It
will make things go quicker and smoother. Their's nothing more
frustrating than being online for an hour and never pull the trigger
because someone isn't paying attention or following instructions.
- Outside of required squad functions, when in a game, please
respect the hosts wishes. If you don't want to play by the hosts'
rules, LEAVE THE GAME!
- Salute when entering or exiting a room (~S~ or S!). This is common
courtesy. Whether you win or loose, be courteous and tell everyone
good game (gg).
- You are required to have fun.
